Prince Emeka Kalu as Chairman of OTRC and Ezeship Selection; Stellar Acts Of Patriotism

Since the Okon-Aku crisis erupted in January 2026, Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu has exercised remarkable restraint in speaking publicly. His silence has not been born of indifference but of principle. As the President of Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU), the largest umbrella body for Media and Cultural Workers in Africa (which gives him unfethered access to endless media), but taking to media would've given the impression that he seeks to interfere in investigations or sway public opinion, especially, given that an Administrative Panel of Inquiry was set by the Abia State Government, while other relevant security authorities are…

Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a suit seeking the removal Senator David Mark and former Governor Rauf Aregbesola as National Chairman and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, respectively. The judge on Friday threw away the suit on the ground that it bordered on the internal affairs of a political party, over which no court has jurisdiction. Justice Abdulmalik in the judgment said that membership and leadership of a political party is voluntary, on the ground that parties are voluntary associations that have no compulsion. The Judge held that members aggrieved…

In a no-holds-barred response, Offor, a staunch supporter of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, dismissed the recent comments from APC leadership as nothing more than an exercise in political posturing. He argued that Abia State do not need any change because the change is already here and the people…
